IMPORTANT NOTE: If there are no laws or rules that specifically address "write-in candidates," you will need to call the Elections Commission or Secretary of State to ask if there is any official procedure to certify or register a write-in candidate so that the write-in votes will be counted, specifically for President of the United States, and whether the presidential candidate must be sponsored by a political party. ----- Nevada Statutes, Title 24 Elections, NRS Chapter 293.010 – 293.920.
