Would You Vote If You Got Paid to Vote?
Here is How You Will Get Paid to Vote
(by John Manimas Medeiros - free to share)
We, the people, are the government, and WE DO pay you to vote.
First, you need to [Vote Smart], which means voting in your own economic self-interest. Vote for candidates who will promote your economic needs while protecting the life-supporting environment for the future. Reject liars and con-artists. Here are the most common lies:
A) "I believe in God." This lie usually means they believe God is a white male Christian.
B) "I have family values." This lie usually means you and your spouse should each work two jobs in order to pay the bankers 15% interest on your credit card accounts.
C) "I support less spending and smaller government." This lie usually means they intend to reduce help for the poor, spend more on weapons, spend more on tax breaks for the rich, and borrow money from the rich so that the rich can stay rich and control the government and pass laws that promote THEIR GREEDY ECONOMIC SELFISH INTERESTS.
Second, vote for candidates who support higher wages and programs that help working people pay for their basic needs such as housing, utilities, food, transportation, clothing and the customary expenses of a household.
Third, vote for candidates who support environmental protection, because polluted air, water and soil WILL INCREASE THE COSTS OF EVERYTHING, including increases in your taxes.
Fourth, reject candidates who say they are opposed to socialism, because they are lying again. They benefit from rules and regulations they make so that the rich can have socialist laws for themselves only, so that they can enjoy economic privileges, such as deducting meals, transportation, hotel rooms and vacations as a "business expense" and stay rich.
Fifth, vote for candidates who support programs that help the poor. Why? Because that is you. You are poor. Don't think so? Have some breaking news for you. If your income is less than one million dollars a year, you are poor. The one running for office, he or she is not poor. Their income falls between one million and one billion dollars a year. They are not running for office because they have "family values." They are running for office because they have money values. They lie to you because they expect you to believe them and then they can control the government and stay rich and get even richer.
So, when did you get paid to vote? You got paid to vote on election day, when you voted for the right candidate, the candidate who will better serve your economic interests. It was a tough decision, but you did the mental work of deciding which candidate was better than the others. With that work and the trip to the polling place, you met your obligation as a citizen and you confirmed that you are a good neighbor.
You DO GET PAID to vote by getting more income and lower costs in your household budget. Does this seem like some kind of a trick to you?
WELL then, I have a question for you: Who pays you not to vote?
