Real Democracy Party (RDP)
Organization and Membership (2015-March 2017)
John Manimas Medeiros is the founder, and Chair from 2015 through March 31, 2017
John Manimas is the write-in candidate for President of the United States for the 2016 election, Nov. 8, 2016. The write-in status is deliberate and to be maintained in order to reduce risks of election ballot fraud by election authorities.
Purpose of this RDP candidacy -- Mission and Principles: The purpose of this candidacy and effort to conduct an effective campaign is to offer the voters an opportunity to vote against the Two-Party System and in favor of peaceful change to real democracy and a multi-party system. The vote could be considered a "protest vote" or notice to the Two-Parties that some voters are so extremely dissatisfied that they want to discard the Two-Party System and change the election system permanently in the direction of real democracy where the officers elected and the public policies implement the will of the people. When the voters lean to the left, those elected and public policy lean to the left; when the voters lean to the right, those elected and public policy lean to the right. The RDP is open to suggestions on how to achieve these goals, but the RDP recommended change is to an election system that uses vote donation, party coalitions and coalition government to achieve the goal of real democracy and a truly multi-party system. The RDP members consider this to be a conservative political movement because the signers of the Constitution and the authors of The Federalist Papers recommended a multi-party election system. In 1787, a Two-Party System would have been considered authoritarian and anti-democratic.
